Daisy is an award-winning filmmaker who has specialised in giving a voice to those who are usually misunderstood or not heard at all. Her films include the BAFTA nominated 15, a pair of Channel 4 films about arranged marriages 'Marrying A Stranger', and the long term project My New Home about immigrant children settling in Britain, which is currently showing on Channel 4. Daisy has developed a uniquely collaborative way of working with her contributors, often earning their trust over a long period of time, and maintaining relationships long after filming is over. She is at home in diverse situations and her personal approach produces films that are warm, insightful and full of humour. Daisy has won a number of prestigious awards for her work, including RTS Best Documentary Series for two years running.
Dunstan was one time singer with the pop band Chumbawamba. He made a documentary about the experience called Well Done, Now Sod Off which won the audience prize at Leeds International Film Festival. He designs and builds websites, including this one, the new Channel 4 site for MY NEW HOME and Daisy's own site. He has also produced a soundtrack for Channel 4s "Whatever A Teenage Musical" in 2004, which was nominated for the RTS Craft Award for Best Original Soundtrack. He produced Daisy's latest documentary, the Grierson shortlisted "CLOWNS' and Ed Kevill-Davies" PUPPET LOVE for Dandy. He is currently making a documentray about punk band Sham 69 touring China.
Sian began 15 years ago as a production assistant at the BBC. She spent 5 years moving between various factual departments, foreign shoots and in 2001 became a co-ordinator, overseeing much larger film units making promos for BBC programmes and services. As a freelancer she worked on commercials and music promos, production managing 16 & 35mm shoots for artists including The Sugababes and commercials for clients like Wrigleys. In 2003 she returned to the BBC as a freelancer in the Drama department working on some high profile series which included Holby City. In 2005 she moved to Brighton to work for Ricochet where she met and worked with Daisy Asquith. Since 2007 she has been looking after Dandy Films.
