DAISY ASQUITH

DUNSTAN BRUCE

ALAN MACKAY

Daisy is an award-winning filmmaker who has specialised in giving a voice to those who are usually misunderstood or not heard at all. Her films include the BAFTA nominated 15, a pair of Channel 4 films about arranged marriages 'Marrying A Stranger', and the long term project My New Home about immigrant children settling in Britain, which is currently showing on Channel 4. Daisy has developed a uniquely collaborative way of working with her contributors, often earning their trust over a long period of time, and maintaining relationships long after filming is over. She is at home in diverse situations and her personal approach produces films that are warm, insightful and full of humour. Daisy has won a number of prestigious awards for her work, including RTS Best Documentary Series for two years running.

Dunstan toured the world extensively as a singer with the pop band Chumbawamba, at one point selling 6 million albums full of anarchist propaganda to an unsuspecting American public. He made a documentary about the experience called Well Done, Now Sod Off which won the audience prize at Leeds International Film Festival. Dunstan designs and builds websites, including this one, the new Channel 4 site for MY NEW HOME and a site for Daisy's film THE OLDEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. He has also produced a soundtrack for Channel 4s "Whatever A Teenage Musical" in 2004, which was nominated for the RTS Craft Award for Best Original Soundtrack. He has just produced Daisy's latest documentary "CLOWNS'.

Alan is an award winning editor who has been cutting films for television and cinema for thirty years. Recently he was the editor of Bafta and RTS nominated 'The Falling Man', directed by Henry Singer. He also notably cut Brian Hill's Bafta winning musical documentary 'Feltham Sings'. He has his own Final Cut Pro edit suite next door to the Dandy office. Alan has recently edited 'HEAVY LOAD', Jerry Rothwell's independent feature documentary about a punk covers band with learning disabilities. He has just finished editing Daisy Asquith's latest documentary "CLOWNS".
